Visita Iglesia in Rome
The Visita Iglesia, which is a Catholic practice, has been part of our family tradition ever since. I remember going with my parents and being part of it since I was seven. We usually visit at least seven churches and pray the Holy Rosary in each church. During my earlier involvement, we would usually visit just the nearby churches in the nearby barrios and cities. As time went by, we went farther to the point that I have visited even the far south churches in our country. This time, my parent and I are planning to do the same in Rome. Pilgrimage Rome is how we will call it and we’re hoping to visit most of the known churches in Vatican with the help of my uncle who is a Vatican priest. As part of the planning, I’m in charge of the lodging and hence doing research over the net by keying in “apartments rome” in my web search engine. We were lucky enough to find and book for a place very near the St. Peter’s Basilica where my uncle is actually currently staying. The place was relatively cheap and one great deal about it is that it has no booking fees. This will be quite an experience for our annual tradition and a few years from now, maybe we will also do it in Spain as I came across a lot of great hotel deals when I typed “hotel barcelona” on my browser.
